Yoko oh no

I wore a shirt the other day that had a picture of John Lennon on it and it said "Imagine There's No Yoko." A nice pun off of John's song Imagine. I got the shirt a couple years ago in London, and everytime I wear it I always get laughs. Sometimes people ask me "what exactly did Yoko do to make everyone hate her?" Awwww heck, she really didn't do anything. WHAT? I cant believe I said that, but its true. We Beatles fans just use her as an excape goat for the breakup for the Beatles, when it was really John, Paul, George and Ringo's fault.
They broke up for the same reason they were so successful; they were all individually successful musicians, each with their own style. You can listen to their later albums, such as the White Album and Abbey Road, and hear the distance that has grown between them. John wanted to make more 'political' and 'hidden meaning' music. Paul thought it would be a bad idea to be political. Paul wanted to make happy, love music. George had become very religious and wanted to make more religious/Indian music. And Ringo was just fed up with it all, he was tired of being on the back burner and no one listening to his comments, opinions and songs.
Yes Yoko had a little to do with it, but everyone and anyone at that time did. The only difference was Yoko was always around, attending nearly every recording at the studio. The Beatles had always said that no one but them would attend the recordings, making much easier to create their music. Yoko was always there, sitting right by John, and would sometimes make comments on what they were doing. Yes this frustrated the rest of the Beatles, but is not why they broke up. She was just there at the wrong time.
Awww heck, simply put, Yoko and John were as in love as your could possibly be. When they relationship was new was the same time the band were going separate ways. And its just easier to point at the new, strange person and yell rape.
